There is nothing British about the BNP

During a debate last night in Stoke, Norsheen Bhatti told Simon Darby the BNP deputy leader:

“There is nothing British about the BNP”

Stung by the truth, Darby’s only response was to show his underlying racist beliefs:

“I’m more British than you”

Writing on his blog, Darby seems genuinely surprised that somebody has called him out for his vile views, values and beliefs that go against everything Britain believes in.

Let us compare:

Norsheen Bhatti, who has lived in Britain all her life – born and bred in Birmingham, studied at Keele University. She’s dedicated her career to public service and helping bring about greater participation in our political system.

And Simon Darby, deputy leader of a party that believes in segregation, intolerance and putting guns on our streets. Who has spoken at European far right rallies where he was greeted by Nazi salutes and believes that John Marie Le Pen is “the greatest living Frenchman”.

Norsheen represents Britain far better than Darby ever will be.
